Zambia
Zambia has no adult-content age-verification law, social-media minor-access restriction, app-store age-verification requirement, or age-appropriate design code.
The Children's Code Act, 2022 defines "online exploitation" to include grooming, live streaming, and coercing a child for a sexual purpose, and entitles a child to protection from cyberbullying and online exploitation and from exposure to obscene or pornographic material, but neither provision imposes an age-verification or age-gating duty on a service provider.
The Cyber Crimes Act, 2025, and before its repeal the Cyber Security and Cyber Crimes Act, 2021, criminalise producing, distributing, offering, or possessing child pornography and soliciting a child through a computer system, but again address the content and the offender rather than requiring a service to verify a user's age before granting access.
Instruments on record
No age-gating law in force on record as of 2026-09-05.
