Vanuatu
Vanuatu has no adult-content age-verification law, social-media minor-access restriction, app-store age-verification requirement, or age-appropriate design code.
The Cybercrime Act No. 22 of 2021 criminalises producing, distributing, or hosting child pornography and requires a service provider that becomes aware of such material on its service to refer it to the Vanuatu Police Force, and separately bans soliciting a child for sexual exploitation through a computer system, but each of those duties runs to reporting or criminalising specific conduct rather than to verifying or gating a user's age.
The Data Protection and Privacy Act No. 13 of 2024 requires a data controller to obtain parental consent and put age-verification mechanisms in place before processing a child's personal data, which is a duty attaching to the data rather than to a covered service, and is recorded under the privacy topic.
Instruments on record
No age-gating law in force on record as of 2026-09-06.
