Puerto Rico has not enacted an adult-content age-verification law, a social-media minor-access restriction, an app-store age-verification requirement, or an age-appropriate design code. Ley Núm. 246 de 2011 (Ley para la Seguridad, Bienestar y Protección de Menores) governs child-welfare and abuse-and-neglect proceedings and judicial training; its text contains no provision addressing an online service, age verification, or a minor's access to a platform.

Legislative proposals to restrict minors' access to social media, including a House measure that would set sixteen as a minimum age and empower the Negociado de Telecomunicaciones to audit compliance, and a separate Senate proposal for a "Código para el Uso de las Redes Sociales en Menores de Edad", were pending in the Legislative Assembly as of early 2026 and had not been enacted as of the date shown, so neither is recorded as an instrument here.
