Tajikistan has no adult-content age-verification law, social-media minor-access restriction, app-store age-verification requirement, or age-appropriate design code among the sources reached.

The Criminal Code (1998, as amended) criminalizes the production, distribution, public display or advertising of pornographic materials generally (Art. 241), with a heightened tier where the material is distributed among minors or a minor is involved in its circulation, and dedicated offenses for producing pornographic materials depicting a minor or using a minor to produce them (Arts. 241(1) and 241(2)).

Each of these provisions punishes the producer or distributor of the material directly, rather than imposing an age-verification or age-gating duty on a service that hosts or transmits it.
