El Salvador has no adult-content age-verification law, social-media minor-access restriction, app-store age-verification requirement, or age-appropriate design code.
The Ley Especial contra los Delitos Informáticos y Conexos (Decreto Legislativo No. 260 of 2016, as amended) criminalizes possessing or acquiring child sexual-abuse material obtained or held through information and communication technologies, corrupting a minor for erotic or pornographic purposes through such technologies, and harassing a minor online, but none of these offences imposes an age-verification or age-gating duty on a service provider; they punish the offender directly.
El Salvador's general children's rights statute, the Ley de Protección Integral de la Niñez y Adolescencia (Decreto Legislativo No. 839 of 2009), is not described here beyond its existence and title.
