No age-verification, age-gating, social-media minor-access, app-store age-verification, or age-appropriate design code statute is on the books in Pakistan as of the date below.

The Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016 and its 2025 amendment (Act No. II of 2025, which established the Social Media Protection and Regulatory Authority and a content takedown regime) were read in full and neither conditions access to any service on a user's age nor imposes an age-verification duty on an operator; the Act's minor-protection provisions (sections 19 and 19A) criminalise specific harmful conduct rather than gate access by age.

Subordinate rules issued under PECA's rule-making power that other sources describe as addressing removal of unlawful online content reaching minors have not been located in an official copy, so their content is not described here.
