Peru has no adult-content age-verification law, social-media minor-access restriction, app-store age-verification requirement, or age-appropriate design code.

Ley No. 30096, Ley de Delitos Informáticos, article 5 criminalizes contacting a minor under fourteen through the internet or another similar medium to solicit or obtain pornographic material from them, or to propose an act of a sexual nature, but that is a criminal offense against the minor's sexual freedom and indemnity, not a duty on a service to verify a user's age.

Ley No. 30254, Ley de Promoción para el uso seguro y responsable de las Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicaciones por Niños, Niñas y Adolescentes, as amended by Ley No. 31664 (2022), requires an establishment offering public internet access, such as an internet cabin, hotel, restaurant, airport, shopping center, park, or government facility, to ensure the service carries minimum filters and access records so that pornographic content cannot be reached, with access to that content reserved to a recorded, authorized adult; the duty runs to the operator of the internet access point, not to a publisher of adult content or to an app.

Ley No. 31664 repealed Ley No. 28119, which had directly prohibited a minor's access to a pornographic website, and replaced it with this access-point filtering regime. A bill to restrict minors' access to social media, Proyecto de Ley 10880/2024-CR, remains before the Comisión de la Mujer y Familia and the Comisión de Salud y Población as of August 2025 and has not passed either chamber.
