Oman has no adult-content age-verification law, social-media minor-access restriction, app-store age-verification requirement, or age-appropriate design code.

The Child Law (Royal Decree No. 22/2014) defines a child as any human being who has not completed eighteen years of age by the Gregorian calendar (Art. 1(d)) and criminalizes publishing, displaying, circulating, or possessing publications or audiovisual works that appeal to a child's base instincts or normalize conduct contrary to societal values, law, or public order (Art. 56(e)), but its text carries no reference to the internet, a digital platform, or any age-verification or age-gating duty on a service provider.

The Cybercrime Combat Law (Royal Decree No. 61/2026, which repealed and replaced Royal Decree No. 12/2011) likewise carries no child- or minor-specific provision among its unauthorized-access and data-interference offenses; its only capacity-linked clause is a general exemption from punishment for a guardian, custodian, curator, or caregiver acting to protect the interest of a person lacking or having diminished legal capacity, which is not an age-verification duty on a platform.

The Consumer Protection Law (Royal Decree No. 66/2014) was checked directly at primary source and carries no child- or minor-related provision either. No further age-verification, social-media, app-store, or design-code statute has been located at primary source.
