Nepal has no adult-content age-verification law, social-media minor-access restriction, app-store age-verification requirement, or age-appropriate design code as of the date below.

The Act Relating to Children, 2075 (2018) criminalises child sexual abuse, including showing or displaying child pornography and distributing, storing, or using obscene material involving a child, and requires that no person publish or broadcast, through print or electronic media, details disclosing the identity of a child concerned with a case in the Juvenile Court or a child victim of an offence against children (s. 78); neither provision imposes an age-verification or age-gating duty on a service that publishes, hosts, or distributes content, and the confidentiality duty runs to identifying details of a specific child rather than to a service's general access controls.

The Electronic Transactions Act, 2063 (2008) bars publishing or displaying material online that is contrary to public morality or decent behaviour, or that may spread hatred or jealousy among communities (s. 47); the offence is general and not keyed to a user's age, and it does not require age verification or gating as a condition of publication.

No statute located imposes a minor-access restriction on a social media platform, an age-verification duty on an operator of adult content, an age-rating duty on an app store or developer, or a design duty scoped to services likely to be accessed by children.
