Mauritius has no adult-content age-verification law, social-media minor-access restriction, app-store age-verification requirement, or age-appropriate design code. The Data Protection Act 2017 requires a child's parent or guardian to consent, verified with reasonable effort, before a child under 16's personal data is processed, but this is a data-processing consent duty rather than an age-verification or age-gating duty on a content publisher, and it is recorded under the privacy topic.

The Cybersecurity and Cybercrime Act 2021 requires the administrator of an online account to moderate undesirable content brought to its attention by an investigatory authority and criminalises revenge pornography, and the Children's Act 2020 criminalises knowingly accessing, producing, possessing, or distributing child pornography and child grooming through information and communication technologies, but none of these three statutes imposes a duty on a service provider to verify or gate a user's age before granting access to a service or content category.
