Mauritania has no adult-content age-verification law, social-media minor-access restriction, app-store age-verification requirement, or age-appropriate design code.

Loi n° 2016-007 relative à la cybercriminalité criminalises producing, recording, offering, making available, transmitting, or distributing child pornography through a computer system, possessing it, and accessing or facilitating access to it (arts. 17-20), and separately criminalises pornography in general distributed through a computer system (arts. 15-16), but none of those provisions imposes an age-verification or age-gating duty on a service provider; the duty runs to the person who creates, distributes, or accesses such content, not to a platform that must verify a user's age before granting access to adult material.
