Myanmar has no adult-content age-verification law, social-media minor-access restriction, app-store age-verification requirement, or age-appropriate design code.

The Broadcasting Law (Pyidaungsu Hluttaw Law No. 53/2015) requires the National Broadcasting Council's Code of Conduct to define content standards for the protection of children and the classification of programmes, including films, according to the recommended age of viewers, and requires every public, commercial, community and government broadcast institution to comply with it, but this is a content-classification and scheduling duty addressed to a licensed broadcaster, not an access-gating or verification duty triggered by a viewer's age, and the Law's own definition of "Broadcasting" expressly excludes internet-based broadcasting, so it reaches no on-demand or online service.

The Media Law establishes a Myanmar News Media Council and a code of conduct for news media workers covering accuracy, correction, the presumption of innocence, and avoiding plagiarism or content that inflames ethnic, religious or racial conflict, with fines running to the individual media worker for a breach, but names no minor, child, or age-classification duty anywhere in its text.

The Cybersecurity Law (State Administration Council Law No. 1/2025), sections 30 to 32, imposes a general takedown duty on a digital platform provider reaching several prohibited-content categories, a content-moderation duty attaching to the category of content rather than to a viewer's age, not an age-verification or access-gating instrument.

The Child Rights Law (Pyidaungsu Hluttaw Law No. 22/2019) criminalises producing or distributing child pornography, binding any person, and separately bars publishing an accused or witness child's identifying information in a juvenile-court proceeding, both general or proceeding-specific duties rather than an age-verification or age-gating duty on a private online service, publisher, platform, broadcaster or distributor.
