Madagascar has no adult-content age-verification law, social-media minor-access restriction, app-store age-verification requirement, or age-appropriate design code as of the date below. Law No. 2007-023 on the rights and protection of children, checked for internet, pornography, social-media, and online-service terms, contains none of them; it sets general child-welfare, education, and protection rules and defines a child as a person under 18, but imposes no duty on any online service.

Law No. 2014-006 on the fight against cybercrime criminalizes producing, distributing, or holding child sexual-abuse material and making sexual propositions to a minor online, but these are content-based criminal prohibitions addressed to the person committing the act, not an age-verification or age-gating duty imposed on a service provider.
