Kiribati has no adult-content age-verification law, social-media minor-access restriction, app-store age-verification requirement, or age-appropriate design code.

The Cybercrime Act 2021 criminalises producing, distributing, or accessing sexual abuse material depicting a child through a computer system and soliciting or grooming a child through a computer system, and the Data Protection Act 2025, a Bill that has passed only its first reading in Parliament, would require a parent's or guardian's consent before processing the personal data of a person under eighteen if it is enacted, but neither provision imposes an age-verification or age-gating duty on a service that publishes adult content, operates a social platform, or ships an app.
