Iraq has no adult-content age-verification law, social-media minor-access restriction, app-store age-verification requirement, or age-appropriate design code.

The Communications and Media Commission's Framework Regulations for Digital Platforms and Services (17 February 2025) requires a licensed or registered platform to maintain content-moderation policies and an age-rating system as part of its content-moderation obligations, but this is a labelling duty rather than a gating or access-control duty tied to a user's age, and imposes no verification or minor-access-restriction requirement on the platform.

A Child Protection Law was reported to be under legislative consideration in 2024-2025, but no enactment, gazette citation, or bill number for it has been located, and its provisions are not described here.
