Ghana has not enacted an adult-content age-verification, social-media minor-access, app-store age-verification, or age-appropriate design code statute.

The Cybersecurity Act, 2020 (Act 1038) creates a dedicated Protection of Children Online part criminalizing taking, producing, publishing, or possessing an indecent image or photograph of a child, dealing with a child for purposes of sexual abuse, cyberstalking of a child, and sexual extortion, defining a child as a person below the age of eighteen years; the same Act repeals the Electronic Transactions Act, 2008 (Act 772)'s earlier, narrower child-pornography offence, so the Cybersecurity Act's provision is now the operative one.

Neither Act imposes an age-verification or age-gating duty on a service provider; both criminalize specific conduct against children rather than requiring a service to verify a user's age or design its product around a minor audience.
