The Law of Georgia on Protecting Minors From Bad Influences (No. 1081, 2001) restricts minors' access to alcohol, tobacco, gambling houses and gaming machines, bars and night clubs, and delegates broadcasting content matters to the Code of Conduct under the Law of Georgia on Broadcasting; none of its provisions reach an online service, an app, or an app store, and it carries no age-verification or age-gating mechanism of the kind this topic tracks.

The Law of Georgia on the Protection of Family Values and Minors (No. 4437-XVI, 2024) forbids a broadcaster from airing, and forbids providing to a minor through direct communication, information that popularises a person's assignment to a sex other than their biological sex or a same-sex relationship with an expressed sexual orientation, or incest; its duties run to broadcasters, advertisers, educational institutions and persons in direct physical or verbal communication with a minor, and it imposes no age-verification, age-gating, or age-threshold mechanism on an online service, a social media platform, or an app store.
