Ecuador has no adult-content age-verification law, no social-media minor-access restriction, no app-store age-verification requirement, and no age-appropriate design code.

The Código de la Niñez y Adolescencia (Ley 100, Registro Oficial 737, 3 de enero de 2003) prohibits circulating publications, videos, and recordings aimed at children and adolescents that contain content unsuited to their development, and requires a broadcaster or publisher of audiovisual or print content to announce in advance the nature of a program and its age classification, but each of those duties addresses a traditional broadcaster, publisher, cinema, or theatre, not an online service, and no provision located requires verifying a user's age before granting online access.

The LOPDP gives heightened protection to a child's or adolescent's personal data in the automated-decision context, but that is a data-processing duty rather than an age-gating or age-verification requirement. No statute located establishes an age threshold, a covered-services definition, or a verification-method requirement for an online service.
