The Dominican Republic has no adult-content age-verification law, social-media minor-access restriction, app-store age-verification requirement, or age-appropriate design code.

Ley No. 136-03, the Código para el Sistema de Protección y los Derechos Fundamentales de Niños, Niñas y Adolescentes, bars selling pornographic material, alcohol, tobacco, weapons, and similar goods to a minor in a physical establishment and requires printed material such as magazines and videos to carry a content-identification wrapper (arts. 20-23), and separately criminalizes producing, using, or distributing child pornography and other forms of commercial sexual exploitation of a minor (art. 25), but none of these provisions imposes an age-verification or age-gating duty on an online service, and none was found to reach digital or online distribution specifically.

Ley No. 53-07 sobre Crímenes y Delitos de Alta Tecnología separately criminalizes producing, disseminating, selling, acquiring, or possessing child pornography through an information system (art. 24), defining a child as a person up to twelve years old and an adolescent as a person from thirteen until the age of majority, but this too is a content-crime provision addressed to the offender rather than an age-verification duty addressed to a publisher or platform.
