Dominica

National jurisdiction · as of 2026-09-07

Dominica has no adult-content age-verification law, social-media minor-access restriction, app-store age-verification requirement, or age-appropriate design code. The Electronic Transactions Act, 2013 (Act No. 19 of 2013), read in full, addresses electronic contracting, electronic signatures and record retention and contains no provision using the words child, minor or age in a way that creates a verification or access-control duty on an online service.

The Electronic Crimes Bill, which would create computer-related offences including any addressed to minors, remains a bill and is not yet in force. No dedicated online-safety, social-media, app-store, or broadcasting statute imposing a verification or access-control duty on a private online service appears in the Government of Dominica's laws portal or in the Council of Europe's Octopus Cybercrime Community registry of Dominica's cyber-related legislation.
