Belarus has no adult-content age-verification law, social-media minor-access restriction, app-store age-verification requirement, or age-appropriate design code that reaches an online service.

Amendments effective 1 July 2017 to the Law on Mass Media and the Law on Publishing require print and broadcast media and printed editions distributed in Belarus to carry an age-category mark (0+, 6+, 12+, 16+, or 18+) under a scheme adopted to protect children from information that may harm their health and development, with the age-category criteria set by Council of Ministers Resolution No. 871 of 25 October 2016.

That marking duty explicitly excludes information messages and materials distributed over the global computer network Internet, and the Ministry of Information's own guidance states that marking an internet resource is a right its owner may exercise, never an obligation.

Technical measures to keep children from harmful online content are instead placed on owners of computer clubs, internet cafes, and other venues that provide collective public internet access, and on educational institutions, while a parent may separately contract with an internet service provider for content-restriction services. No statute or reported case imposes an age-verification, age-gating, or minor-access-restriction duty on the operator of a website, app, social platform, or app store.
