Bangladesh has no adult-content age-verification law, social-media minor-access restriction, app-store age-verification requirement, or age-appropriate design code.

The Pornography Control Act, 2012 (Act No. 9 of 2012) bans the production, storage, marketing, transport, supply, purchase, sale, possession, or display of pornography outright, for every viewer regardless of age, and separately imposes a heightened penalty of up to ten years' imprisonment for producing, distributing, or supplying pornography using a child (defined by cross-reference to the Children Act, 1974); neither provision conditions a service provider's duty on verifying or gating access by the age of the person viewing the content.
