Barbados
Barbados has no adult-content age-verification law, social-media minor-access restriction, app-store age-verification requirement, or age-appropriate design code.
The Child Protection Act, 2024 repealed the Prevention of Cruelty to Children Act 1904 and now governs general child welfare and child-care-centre standards, but the sources located for it, which quote its child-care-centre and corporal-punishment provisions in detail, identify no provision addressing an online service, an internet-connected platform, or age verification of any kind; an international children's-rights tracker's most recent country report, dated December 2024, states that it was still seeking confirmation that the Act has come into force. No online-safety statute, bill, or regulation of any kind was located.
