Argentina has no adult-content age-verification law, social-media minor-access restriction, app-store age-verification requirement, or age-appropriate design code.

Ley 26.061, Ley de Protección Integral de los Derechos de las Niñas, Niños y Adolescentes (2005), Argentina's general child-protection statute, was checked directly and contains no provision addressing an online service, a digital platform, or age verification; its references to the internet are limited to publishing the national ombudsperson's own reports online.

Several bills to set a digital age of majority or require platform age-verification and parental consent for minors, including a proposal to bar under-13 social-media accounts and require parental consent between ages 14 and 16, and a separate proposal to set the digital age of majority at 15, were introduced in the Chamber of Deputies during 2026 and remain in committee before the Families, Childhood and Youth Committee; none has been voted on by either chamber.
