National jurisdiction · as of 2026-09-07

Angola has no adult-content age-verification law, social-media minor-access restriction, app-store age-verification requirement, or age-appropriate design code.

Lei n.º 25/12 (Lei sobre a Protecção e Desenvolvimento Integral da Criança) devotes Article 30 to a duty on the family, schools, libraries, and other entities that make internet information available to children to equip their equipment with technological measures protecting children from inappropriate cybernetic content, a duty addressed to access-providing institutions rather than an age-verification or gating duty on an online service or distributor; Article 31 restricts what children's and youth publications may depict (no alcohol, tobacco, or weapons imagery); and Article 32 states a general State duty to prevent children's access to pornographic or violence-inciting material, without addressing an online or on-demand service.

Lei n.º 1/17 (Lei de Imprensa), Article 63, requires a broadcaster to precede a programme that could negatively affect children's or adolescents' personality formation with an explicit warning and an appropriate indicator, and to air it only at night, a content-labelling and scheduling duty rather than an age-verification or access-control duty on a distributor or platform.
