Antigua and Barbuda

National jurisdiction · as of 2026-09-05

Antigua and Barbuda has no adult-content age-verification law, social-media minor-access restriction, app-store age-verification requirement, or age-appropriate design code.

The Electronic Crimes Act, 2013 (No. 14 of 2013) criminalises publishing, transmitting, or procuring child pornography and facilitating a child's online abuse under section 10, and the National Authority for Information Security and Safety may act against sites carrying such material, but that section punishes the underlying conduct rather than imposing an age-verification or age-gating duty on a service provider. The Data Protection Act, 2013 (No. 10 of 2013) contains no age-specific provision at all.
